Overview
Skilled migration points score (subclass 189/190/491)
Australia's General Skilled Migration program awards points for age, English, education, work experience, partner skills and state nomination. Most occupations need 65 points minimum to lodge an EOI and 80-100+ to receive an invitation.
Points are competitive — within the same occupation, the highest scores get invited first each round. Adding even 5 points can dramatically improve odds.
